How do yellowtail blue damsels make out?

How do they make out? In the back seat of a cadillac at the drive-in. Maybe some heavy petting as well.... :D

They stay small, and generally patrol a small area. They don't hang out together, IME.

I have three in my tank somewhat big though (450g) they stay in their own little area like sdguy mentioned. Never had any problems with aggression from them, even in smaller tanks.

IME , I have found them to be aggressive unless they are housed with more aggressive fish in larger tanks . they were the first fish I had (x2 very small ones ) when I first started the hobby , they were always nipping at each other and would not allow me to add any other fish to the tank . I had to tear down a 29g completely to get them out .

Pretty docile IMO. Not to be housed with firefish and fairy wrasses but dwarf angels and larger fish no problems. My chromis even pick on mine.

I have one and is the wimp of the tank. Even my firefish bosses him around. I don't think he has grown for the year that I've had him either, still about 1".

Three in my 120g for just about two years. The only fish they've been aggressive towards were the clowns, but it ended alright. The clowns got anemones :) Otherwise, they've been fine.

I have a pair in a 76 gallon they used to hang out but dont anymore they sta to themselves and are not agressive unless someone enters their territory. One even beats on a 11" snowflake eel.
