I decided to ask here because here are experienced reefers.
How do you secure your corals to your rock work? I use crazy glue gel type but corals failing off after few weeks, so how to make them stay up there?

I use aquamend its like a blue green color outside and white inside tube that you mix together and it hardens. Home depot sells it. I actually use a combination of that and crazy glue gel .

It still a pain because you sometimes have to hold it there until the it hardens but it works.

If you can pull the rock out of the water it seems to make a better bond.

I use the same combo as SPSfiend.....I also hear about people putting the glue in the freezer to make it even thicker, but the gel is usually good enough for me.

I think my main problem with crazy glue is the water .I remove rock and the base of coral from water and wipe it with paper towel but to make real dry I need more time, It would be deadly for coral and live rock to wait it to dry.

With the crazy glue, you can wait till it dries all the way.....If you are too worried about maybe sensitive SPS, keep the coral in a small bowl of tank water while you hold the rock out of the water.

I personally wait for the glue to dry w/ both rock and coral out of the water with no issues yet. JME w/ this though.
