You can't. If the item you listed is no longer for sale, it might help to leave a note in the thread stating that it's no longer for sale. Sometimes the mods will close them at that point.

If you are concerned about inappropriate responses, you may want to "flag" the particular post. Mods are passionate about minimizing CL type comments. They will usually take appropriate measures.
