How do you feed frozen gel formula 2?

The stuff just sinks when I dump it in the tank like other frozen cubes. The fish peck at it as it goes down then it gets lost in the rocks.

i got a free pack of it with instant ocean salt and tried using it twice with the same results. It ended up in the garbage...

Do you just toss the cube in to the water frozen? If you let it thaw in some tank water it tends to float. At least my formula 1 cubes do.

I thaw it in a cup, then chop it into little pieces and add it slowly to tank.
