I have a green elephant ear mushroom that I want to frag.
the only problem is that there are 4 mushrooms and they all seem to be connected
I think they are still splitting
they cant really spread out flat because there in each other ways
its kinda hard to explain
can I still fragg them or split them myself?
can someone also list the procedures on how to frag them
Ill try to post some pics later

heres some pics

the last 3 pics I didnt adjust the white balance on my cam so it looks a little different in color
there all the same mushrooms

They look very healthy and colorful. I would cut the mushrooms apart where they seem to be splitting. Just cut it into four new mushrooms with one mouth each. Once they heal you could try cutting them directly across, through the mouth. Use a razor blade to make clean cuts all of the way through. You may want to take them out of your tank and place them on a hard surface to make cutting them easier.

so I should wait untill they fully split until I can frag them?
are my shrooms even splitting right now?

Since there are four mouths, I would cut them apart into four mushrooms with one mouth each. After they heal into four seperate mushrooms, you could continue to frag them many more times. You could start today by cutting them apart with a clean razor blade. They may split soon, but as long as they are healthy, you should not have any problems fragging them. I hope that answers your questions, but if not feel free to ask more.

I think I get it
I cut them into four single pieces
then I wait for them to heal
after there healed I can cut the four pieces up into 2 or 4 pieces each and get 12 or 16 pieces
how should I cut them?be specific please/from center of mouth out or doesnt matter
what should I cut them in?tank,seperate container,etc
should I cut them in or out of water?
more info please

That's right. Take them out of the water and place them on a hard surface. Using a razor blade, cut your mushrooms into four new ones. Once cut, the mouths should be in the center of the new mushroom. I would not cut across any of the mouths until the first four mushrooms are healed. After that you can slice them across the mouth like you would a pizza. Try to go all of the way through the mushrooms on the first cut. The cleaner the cut, the faster it heals.

only the shroom facing up is attached and the others arnt
should I remove them while they are curled up like that or should I wait?
can I flatten them out myself
the others cant attach because the current in my tank is making them slide from side to side(not continuessly but every few mins or so)
whats the best thing I should do so I can frag them asap?

You can cut their "foot" to seperate them. Just be sure to wear some protective eyewear when fragging shrooms, because they spit when you cut into them, and it'll really irritate your eyeballs if you get hit!
