How do you keep frilly mushrooms in check?

We started out with 2 mushrooms and they have multiplied like crazy. They are to the point where they are starting to crowd out some of our other corals. I've tried cutting the off of the rocks, but if you don't get all of it then it grows back into 3 new ones.How do you keep these guys under control?

Cut them off the rock, take it to the LFS for credit or sell them, use kalkwasser paste to smeer over what is left on the rock. To kill whole ones, various injection methods work (kalkwasser, vinegar, Joes Juice, etc)
