how do you move a mushroom

i have a mushroom on the bottom of my aquascape and i would like to move hime closer to the light how to you go about moveing it do you just take it off the rock and place it were you want it.http://reefcentral.com/gallery/data/562/118884IMG_0972__2___WinCE_.JPG

If it isn't bothering anything, I would just leave it. If you still want to move it, I would recommend moving the whole rock. If not that, then I would cut the cap off and let it attach to another rock. What is left over should make new mushroom, too.

so i just use an exacto nife to cute the mushroom on the stock and move it to anouther location.

That will work but I find a sharp pair of scissors easier to use.

cut it the stem will grow back a new one place the top on a rock with low-no flow it will stick in a few days and now you have two I have done it 100's of times I sell the singles my blues go for $5 each and my green stripe for $3 each thats to the LFS
