OMG what is it lately with people wanting to Kill off coral???? Try removing the rock and giving it to a newbie reefer for cheap of free! Our coral reefs are destroyed enough in the wild why do it in your reef tank?

I wish but I couldn't pay someone to take something like GSP away from me...
You might be suprised on that!! if i was closer to you i would take it in a heart beat!!! the frags of it sell like MAD around here!!!

why, I believe this thing is considered a weed around here in the west coast..

I will peel some off and see what I can do with it..

Well, maybe we are not talking about the same thing. This is the rock I am talking about (if you look real close you will see a cucumber feeding):

Thos are zoas not GSP.

gsp/zoas

gsp/zoas

If you want to contain or stop/slow down gsp growth place mushrooms around it.The gsp will not grow into mushrooms.I have kept mine contained to the same spot for years with the use of shrooms. If it is zoas in question shrooms won't work and you will be better off just pulling out the rock and selling/giving it away.
