How do you take eggs away?

Been reading this forums and hopefully one day my fish will lay eggs. Now the question is... if the lay eggs in the main tank's rocks how do you take it away? I mean if the rock cant be taken because its glued or whatever. Is there a way to do it?

Thanks for the help.

Try putting something that they can lay their eggs on, like a pot or tile. Just look into people's breeding set-ups on here.

i do not take it away - i believe the male clown is a far better care-taker of the eggs than my own tile/air bubble set up.

The downside is that i have to time when the eggs hatch at night and scoop them out of the tank. My yields are lower than others on the board but I am not complaining - 100 ~200 fry is more than i can handle.

But what alex said is right on the money - if you can get the clowns to lay on a tile that or pot - that would ideal.

Yeah but those setups seems to be for paired only tanks, so that means the parents are the only ones in it.

If this happens in the mean tank thats a whole other story... I suppose using a tile or whatever may do the trick, IF they lay it there, but there are a bunch of rocks they can choose :p
