How easy to keep Toadstool corals?

Thinking of getting one for my 60g cube, my tank has been running since last fall, water parameters have been stable don't have any swing at all - knock on wood. I keep regular water change once a week, along with any maintenance required. I have a Radeon Pro for lighting.

So far I have a donut, and an elegance, they seem to be doing fine. The donut is growing bigger it seems so I guess that's a good thing.

How difficult would it be to keep a toadstool? I'm not too familiar with dosing so if I don't have to, I don't want to get to that stage yet.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

yeah get toadstool and place it in tank will generally look after itself if parameters are ok as you say they are.will now and again shrink to shed like all leather corals but will when ready expand again.ive only got a 10 gallon and mine in there has been fine

Got one today, it's yellowish color. Put it in the rock work and it's opening now with lights. My cleaner shrimp though seems to be checking him out by walking on it a lot. Don't think it's nipping tho. Will try to get some pics later tonight.

My fiji just doesn't want to extend it's polyps for a few months now, while my toadstool is stretching over 14 inches with beautiful long brown polys poking out. Had them both at the same time, the fiji has never really grown even after waxing over, but the toadstool's grown about 6 more inches in a few months.

I have a Fiji yellow toadstool... from my experience if you run a bluer spectrum of light they tend to fade to a yellowish green... so I made sure I have a decent amount of the 65k spectrum on it, thus allowing it to keep its yellow color

I have a Radion Pro for lighting, is there a specific light spectrum I should use for maximum growth?

I'm not sure about the spectrum, but I've seen a lot of them do just as good as various sps corals up on top of the reef. A bright yellow. JME. GL.

The Fiji is opening nicely but I've noticed a few white spots on the tips, are they normal?
