How far from wall?

I am trying to hang my light as I write this and want to make sure how far to put the tank from the wall. So how far do you guys have your tanks from the wall? I will have a sump so there shouldn't be much of anything hanging from the back of the tank but I would like to keep the back glass clean so I was thinking somewhere around 6 inches. Thanks

Well because of my plumbing I have it about a 6-10 inches off the wall. But thats just because my plumbing comes out a little far.
