I left my house are 3:30pm to go watch the Browns game at my brother and everything in the tank was fine (i added my kole tang to the DT a few days ago) when i got home around 7:30 i noticed he had several small white specks on him... smaller than any ich i have ever seen. And they were all over his body. Is it possible that he has a bunch of sand on him? sometime i think that my clown and potter's angel have ich, but they have sand on them (looks like ich but its usually around their face and disappears within hours) He has been really healthy other wise. eats like a pig, has deep purple coloration and doesnt seem to scratch at all. 2 week in the LFS with out a prob and 2 weeks in QT w/o a problem. he is the only fish with spots and they are uniform on his body. more on the body than tail and fins (doesn't ich usually start on the fins and tail?)

Now I'm not looking for a longer QT lecture I'm just acting if ich can pop up and spread that fast. Or, maybe im just paranoid and its something stuck to him. I also rotated my chaeto in my minifuge which put a lot of particulate in the tank, which may also have stuck to him(?)

EDIT: I observed him a little more and its so subtle that when he is in the shade, under LR where he hangs out quite often, you can't see anything only when he ventures into the light can you see the specks. (which i think it may be debris thats cause light refraction?)

I think it was ich, since it covered his body equally and not in one spot... but luckily its completely gone from his body... but i guess it sucks that i k now the parasite is in my tank now
