How is my tank doing?

Hi, just wondering if anyone can tell where I may be in the cycle process or how my tank is doing. I am settting up a 30 gal long reef tank. The water is crystal clear, and my water parameters are as follows:

PH 8.2
Amonia 0 ppm
Nitrite 0 ppm
Nitarte 0 ppm
Salinity 1.024

Thanks for any help and advice!

how long has the tank been cycling??? they are the numbers you want when the tank is established and healthy. if your in the middle of a cycle. then it seems you just took what the best params are supposed to be and posted them. if your cycling you should have a trace of either ammonia or nitrate....if you've been cycling for 4 weeks or longer and these are your actual numbers, then your cycle is complete...

Sorry, I am probably in the middle of the cycle (been about 2 weeks) however I did have the Nitrate number wrong it was actually 10 ppm. The numbers have been these since I started the tank, that is why I was wondering. Thanks for the response!

well your probably still in the middle. When your params look like the original ones you posted thats when your cycle is done.

JordanB8810, I seeded with about 23 lbs of live rock.
nbyron74, thank you was just curious since the numbers have looked the same since I started.

Drop some surfactant-free ammonia in it and check it quickly - like in 20 or 30 minutes to baseline your values. If not 1-2ppm, get it there, you have a great idea how much to add. Then check all your numbers daily for a week, less if they hit zeroes before. THEN you know your cycle is complete.
