How Long Should Feed Mode Be?

I use an APEX and have a feed mode set for 5 minutes. It seems to short to me. How long do you suggest my feed mode last for?

I usually turn off my pumps to feed the tank. A couple of minutes to feed fish and corals and then leave them off for 10 minutes so they can eat it. So I would assume 15 minutes should be plenty of time unless you have a lot of hand fed babies.
