How long on a average does it take for a bleached BTA to get adjusted to light? When I bought mine, was in a hurry to buy one since its been acouple since i sold all mine. Its suppose to be a GBTA with pink tips. Well the foot is white, with hints of green here and there. Pretty much you can see through the body/tentacles. Tips are still pink dots. Has green here and there around its mouth. It eats every other day. Water tested normal with no problems, its also local seawater down the street. Which the Marine lab pumps from the ocean here and filters,UV's it then gives it out to the public. Funny thing is it was under less light then my tank and it has bubble tentacles and once I added to my tank they went away. I had the lights on for 10hrs a day, which was too much,so backed down to 8hrs a day. it seems to be happier when the lights are out for the most part. So now I am going to cut the light back to 6hrs and see what happens. Odd thing is my 13watt 12,000k light from my HOB refuge shins into the tank,it seems to like that? I have 4-24" T5's on the tank which is plenty of light. 30gal long tank.
