Hi All,
If an empty tank has Ich (from fish that were removed a day ago), how long will it take for Cupramine to kill off all remaining Ich to the point it's safe to transfer a fish to this aquarium?
Why do I ask? Here's the longer story. I had 2 fish in the QT and think one or both may have Ich, so I switched them to the Tank Transfer Method (after starting Cupramine a day before before I learned about TTM). So now the QT is empty (water and sponge filters are running). I have a yellow clown goby in my small DT that I think has flukes or something. So I want to transfer it to the QT, but don't want to expose him to Ich. How long should I wait? And right now, Cupramine is at the half dose. So I assume I would need to up the dose to full strength? Thanks,
