How long...

...can I expect it to take for my Zoas to settle in and spend more time, and have more polyps, open? The Zoas have been added the past two weekends. Tank is two months old. I just added two Oc. Clowns, who are flourishing. My Frogspawn, mushrooms, and green star polyps are doing well, also. Oh, and so is the Feather Duster.

Checked ammonia last night (zero) and do slightly more than a 10% water change each week.

I also have a cleanup grew of: 5 Cerifs, 5 tiny bluefoot hermits, and one larger redfoot hermit.

i find hermits to be good only if you do some heavy feeding .. they pick up all the pieces left behind ..

on a different note .. it really all depends on your tank .. how well established it is .. lighting .. proper supplementation .. water quality .. i also noticed i get more growth with moonlights , i actually had no growth before i got moonlight.. so i think that plays a nice portion of them multiplying and growing.

They do have moonlights, water params are 0-0-0, salinity was slightly low somehow, it fell, but I've slowly very slowly brought it up to where it should be. I do make sure the Hermits get a little extra food to clean up.

I'm going to do a 2 gallon water change tomorrow, hope that will perk things up more than my regular 1 gallon, in the Biocube 8.
