How Many Cukes?

What is the general rule for cucumbers? Does it go by gallons or sand bed area. I have 3 Atlantic Cukes in my 180 and rarely see them or evidence they are cleaning my sandbed. Should I add more?

IMO each on you add is like adding another bullet to the gun your playing russian roulett with. about the only cuke that i have repeatedly heard is safe is the tiger tail.

In my tank i have a queen conch and an algea eating cone snail, both, but especially the cone snail, spend the entire time cleaning the sandbed.
