I have a FOWLR (aprox 100g total system circulation), w/ 65g tall DT (just 36" wide). I currently have 2 clown gobies 1" & 1 1/2", a 6-line wrasse 2", a watchman 3", and 2 1" clown gobies which will remain small. I want a golden midas and 2 flasher wrasses.[/U What do you think?

How much food should I feed this small population? What kind of food? I currently feed flake 2X and frozen mysis shrimp 1X. Is it hard to culture live foods? If not, what kind, and are they more beneficial (enough to justify trouble? I have an active population of all sizes of pods & copods in my fuge.

Thanks for advice.

I think you'd be okay with the other two fish...although the sixline may cause some problems with them. If that happens, just change your rockwork around and take away his territory.

I feed twice a day. Live food isn't necessary for the fish you're keeping, and isn't worth the trouble for them IMO.

Feed NLS pellets. They are fantastic.

I feed thsoe twice a day. Along with arctipods (reef nutrition) and sometimes Formula one flake and pellet together. Soak that in selcon and it's great.

Frozen mysis every other day.

i agree with above. the sixline might be trouble only cause from what has been stated. since the tank is not as wide

IMO fish always swim left to right not up and down. so the sixline percieved territory will seem greater

Yes the sixline has already been a problem. Terrorized 2 fire fish to death, and my royal gamma hid all the time & finally died. He didn't actually bite them that I know of, but would not let them come out to feed. Are most sixlines mean like this? His name is Jack the Ripper!!! But I don't know how to get him out w/all LR.

I'm thinking of a aiptasia eating file fish, and a tomini tang to control grape caulerpa. Do I need to try to catch six-line wrasse & trade him in?
