How many frags?

How many SPS frags can you have around in a 46 gallon tank? 3 feet long, is it like 1 per rock or can you have around 2 for when they grow? Biggest rock across might be around 6 inches or so, maybe a little more. Just curious because I would like to get the tank set up and done, I want zoanthids and all in the bottom so that would be just SPS on top. Wondering about how many frags you could put up there to when they grow it will look nice and full but not so close they grow through each other or something, like smashing into each other.

I recommend one of two methods.

1 per every 3 sq inch if you want small colonies
1 per 5 square inch if you want larger pieces.

If you build a wall, some can grow above others. It also depends on if it is a branching, clustering, or tabling type coral. I would stick to maybe 10 or 15 types and go slowly.

Ok, I have about I don't know, maybe 10 or 11 frags now but they are not all SPS, just 2 are SPS. So I will have to find out if these softies are easy to pull off the rock or not lol. These are all on top pretty much.

wow I need to do some shopping! I have 2 encrusting montis and about 5 other SPS in a 72g and I thought I was pretty much done.
