How many Fromia species for 3yo 55g reef?

For the short term-- as many as you want. For the long term, it's questionable whether even your first one will survive past 18 months in a 55.

Thanks, have you kept Fromia stars for extended periods of time? Is it the fact that we do not understand their dietary needs to promote health and longevity?

I've kept one, but not for a long period of time. Yes, feeding is the main issue.
