How many Fromia?

I have a 90 gallon reef with one healthy fromia star currently. I am considering another. Advice on how many I can keep?

Thanks!

Fromia have extremely poor survival, much worse than Linckia. They can live over a year without eating, so there's no way to judge success prior to about 18 months. Most people claiming success haven't reached that mark yet. No one knows what they eat and they don't seem to find enough of whatever it is in tanks smaller than about 100g even though they're small themselves. Your tank is borderline for the longterm survival of one. I wouldn't add any more.

Why does Fenner, Calfo, Pro, and others indicate the survivability of Fromia and recommend them over Linckia for that reason? There are always disagreements on some finer points, but this seems like a question that could be easily answered with some data.

i totally agree with above the have poor track records worse than linkia and i have yet to meet anyone around here that has kept one more than a year i know of a couple that have kept linkia longer but even they do not last long...as said it is not known what they eat and most starve to death but it takes some time..i would not add any more to your tank
