125 mainly LPS probably around 20X (2500gph) if it's totally random flow, if you do it with multiple powerheads you can probably do less and still keep the detritus off the bottom. I have 32X in my 125, and I have to very carefuly position the few LPS that I have -- they only work in the lower flow spots. I also have sand drifts in my SSB that I can't avoid but so be it. I'm an advocate for as much flow as your livestock can handle.
Oh, and 2X is ridiculously low, even for the fuge. My fuge turns over about 5X and it's just a wimpy HOB unit. The display tank should have LOTS more flow than that if you don't want fish poo to accumulate all over everything.
My problem is the tank was in the house when I bought it and for what reason the guy had the tank drilled with two one inch bulkheads no overflow boxes whatsoever I have a mag 7 with about 5 ft of head any more flow will overflow the tank. As far as water movment I have three aqua flow 70.
