How many shrimp, snails, and hermit crabs can/should I have in my tank?

I also want a (maybe) crab and a brittle or serpent starfish. Can/should I even get a crab for a coral reef tank, if so what crabs are good and which are not good? Thank you.

I'm planning on starting with using1 cleaner shrimp, 7 blue legged hermits (small), and 10 various snails (small...) for by Biocube29 with 1.5" sand bed unless I come across something here to talk me into more or less. I consider adding a small cucumber as well for the same, though some of the snails will help with that.

I started with 5 snails and 3 hermit crabs, I now have about 15 snails and the original 3 hermits. I have a 29G biocube. Reefcleaners have suggestions for tank sizes.

I do about 1/2-3/4 of a snail per gallon. Obvi something bigger like a serpent star would count for a couple snails. A lot of people like crabs, they run around a lot and look cute. But for me that many legs is creepy, and I don't like how they kill snails. Some colors are supposed to be more tame, idk which though.

RN in my 55 I have 10 dwarf cerith, 5 cerith, 3 fuzzy chiton, 10 trochus, 5 nerites, 10 nassarius, a fighting conch and a few limpets, periwinkles, and stomatella. It's a pretty good mix imo
