How many watts on a DC4?

My heaters are rated in Watts and the DC4 is rated in AMPs. I am not sure what the conversion is. I need to run about 1600 watts of heaters, and a small fan off a DC4. Will this work? I have 1 800 watt and 2 400 watt heaters.

Watts = Amps X Volts....
or

So taking an average of 115 volts (it varies from 110 to 125), and the typical DC4 amp rating of 8 per outlet and 10 total we have

920 Watts per outlet and 1150 Watts total

If you are using a DC4HD, at 12 per outlet and 15 total that would be 1380 Watts per outlet and 1725 Watts total

depending on what you want to put on there, a DC8 is only a bit more than the DC4 :). The DC8 is 6 Amps per outlet and a total capacity of 15 amps. Still enough to carry most any heater and/or chiller.. just won't support more than one 250W MH per outlet, unless they are very efficient electronic ballasts :)

You know your right, I was thinking that. I use plain old Heavy Duty timers for my MH. They give me the abilty to turn them on and off easier.
