One thing I've noticed about bangaii's ( and a few other species)- prices vary greatly across the country. On the east Coast bangaii's command rediculous prices, in LA they are about $4 wholesale. Of course I am talking about wild caught fish, but unfortunately that price sort of sets the standard and it's hard to get more just because they are cb. That will change soon enough and for the past year or more all the wc's have been dying anyway. It's a matter of consumer education & awareness. For these reasons I don't breed bangaii's for sale right now but do keep a few going for when things change People come over for clowns, see the bangaii's and ask "how much"? I tell them $50 They are shocked but when I explain the time, effort and space required to produce them
(compared to clownfish) they understand. No one has bought one for $50 yet though
