How much light for chaeto?

How many hours of light does chaeto require for good growth? Is 12 hours enough? Does chaeto need to tumble? Why? Thanks!

A lot of people use a reverse lighting schedule for the chaeto. The fuge lights go on when the display goes off. Burns all night. Chaeto does need a little room to grow, yes. Now tumble like a tumble weed?... Not really.

I use a 75whatt daylight bulb. The one that use uses the round tubes and uses less whatts. I leave on 24/7 in a 29 high refug and get more growth then you ,drummer or i need. heh GL
