how much noshing to expect from a lawnmower

I sort of expected him to be busier, considering the algae in my tank.
In his defence he seems a little stressed. I have seen him take several bites and he cleared a 1/2' space on a clam shell. He came from a tank at the LFS with zero algae; could he just be getting warmed up?

Give him time to get acclimated to your tank. I always have enjoyed lmb they have great personality.

two weeks is a normal acclimation time frame. If they haven't come around in two weeks raise the alarm.

I feel like today is our breakthrough day. He's exploring the tank more and I am seeing him eat more. I was at the LFS today and they said he would have arrived to them last Thursday, and before that who knows what happened to him so he's had a rough time the last little while. I think he the potential to be a very personable fellow.
