How much? Really?

It appears I have unlocked the for sale/trade forums. Thats great because I would like some more mp20s/40 to help with flow. A 1 year old "like new" is 15 dollars cheaper than brand new?

Peace of mind from a retailer is worth 15 dollars to me...

Another thing thats blowing my mind... Some corals are crazy expensive. I understand if its rare it would be more. Also if its a beautiful piece.... But some ugly brown thing thats 800.00 for a frag? Saw a "rare" paly that looked more like aiptasia for 400.00 a head.

Is it a lack of taste on my part? I dont understand what im missing here....

If its looks neat, dosent have some issues where I wont kill it while having it, ill pay... lucky me thats usually the cheap ones.

When it comes to equipment it seems like the Vortechs have come a long way on how reliable they are, if u buy one get the MP40, the MP20 to my knowlage is the same size as the MP40, as far as corals you need to do your homework on what are u buying and the seller reputation, as far as the pricing on some of those corals it depends up to the buyer if he's willing to pay the asking price for that coral.

Up the to buyer? figure so because im not buying....

Was just curious why some of the ugliest is the most expensive... if its just because of being rare... ok then... keep it.

Some corals (and fish) involve a more intense collection process, therefore raising the price...

Example- If the collector can collect these corals right offshore with nothing but a tiny boat = Doesnt require anything special to do, so usally cheap and very common

If its somthing in much deeper water, the collector will need a bigger boat, Oxygen, Etc. which will cost them more money...
