How much should I dose each day of the 2 part?

My DKH is at 10 and my calcium is 410. I want to get my calcium to around 450. I have a 75g with 30g sump and a mostly LPS tank. How much of Randys 2 part do I need to dose.

I read the threads on this and was still a little unsure.

410 is just fine and actually above nsw but if you want to raise it go to:

Plug your numbers in and add that much of the ca part. Remember after that always dose in equal amounts unless you are trying to correct single imbalances. To determine the daily amount that is needed, just take daily(or whatever time frame you choose) measurements of the dKh and correct with equal amounts of both. i.e. if you measured and found you lost 2 dKh over 3 days, then add the correction amounts every 3 days or better yet divide by 3 and add that much daily.

It says only to use 4.45ml at a time which seems kind of low. The kent two part I was using said to put 10ml for every 40g in and it looks more conentrated than the calcium mix I made with prestone. Maybe it's just the color is more white?

Use the calculator as a guide. Test frequently for the first week or two and you will figure out how much you need to add each day. Once you get it dieled in you can test less frequently and will get an idea of how fast your tank is growing when you do test. You will find over time you will need to slightly increase your dosage.

I have about 130 gallons total with a 75 display. I started at 25Ml a day of each part and over the last 4 months have had to bring it up to about 60ml a day due to good coral growth.

use what the reef calculator says to use then test.Randys formula is made to be slightly milder than what you would buy from a store. Its also safer.Dose then test then dose the next day and test.Dosing depends on your tanks needs. Some tanks require more than others.More corals more amounts of elements. It will take you some time of fiddiling around before you get the right amount.Your calcium level at 410 is fine. You are no where at being low.Dose the tank then test 5 min later.Do you have alot of corals(acros) that require lots of calcium.

Manily LPS, I have some Brains and wanted to get some more. Frogspawn, Galaxy, candycane etc
