I recently came into a 75G aquarium which had been set up as a FOWLR but it was VERY neglected. There is a lot (?too much) live rock in there and the top layer is covered in hair algea and cyano. There are a few small feather dusters and spaghetti worms but that's it. I want TBS rock but I don't know how much to order. I can use the existing rock as "base" and ditch/give away the excess (I'll put some in the fuge when I get it). So, how much TBS rock to nicely cover the "base" that I have??
