how much water volume will come out of a 3/4 in pipe?

I am planning on splitting a 1.5" pipe into two 3/4 inch pipes for plumbing a CL (using a dart).

I remember reading somewhere on here that even if I had two 3/4" pipes that it would not equal the water volume of a 1.5" pipe and the dart would have backflow (which doesn't work well on darts)

is this true?

and if it is, would three 3/4 inch equal the water volume of a 1.5" pipe?

i believe what you are asking is .. is it ok/will i have back pressure if i have 3 3/4" locline's off a 1.5" pipe for a close loop?

its twu, its twu...its would hold true no matter what pump you use. The dart is just the worst of the bunch.

A 3/4 inch pipe has a area of about .45 inches. A 1 1/2 pipe has a area of about 1.7 inches. It would take 4 3/4 inch pipes to equal the area of a 1 1/2, plus the friction loss would be much greater in the smaller pipes.

Like this? ;) With some rotatable 90 angle ST's and some flex tubing Im sure you can save alot of money.

just picture it upside for you application.

Seen alot of people do some sweet DIY 4 ways using ABS plastic as well.

from 1/2 to 2 inches.

Inlets outlet combos vary on sizes.

You need a 1.5 inlet with same size outlets, or reduced to 1' outlets?
