how often does phosphate media need to be replaced in a reactor?

I've replaced mine in the past, roughly monthly. Then I did it every 8 weeks, maybe. Got lazy with the reactor.

When you can't get the phosphate reading out of the reactor to 0. As media gets older you increase the flow through the reactor to achieve this.
