how often to feed cyclopeeze?

Picked up some freeze dried cyclopeeze tonight and was wondering how much, how often to feed. I have a 90g reef with about 10 corals and 3 fish (2 clowns and regal tang).

Also, what is the best method of feeding as it's a powder, is it best to mix it with ro/di water first?

I get a cup of RO water and melt it down in there. I then take a turkey baster and spot feed each coral. I turn off the pumps and try to make sure not too much just floats all over the tank. I do this at least twice a week. I have a nano tank though. Just keep your params in check and your corals will love the cyclops...you just reminded me that i need to go feed mine now!

Sounds good, tx. Why is it you don't want to feed the cyclopeeze too often? I notice a lot of people saying they only feed it once or twice a week.

well, I don't think anything needs it more often than that, and there's no need to add excess nutrients to the water column if you don't have a need to do so. what benefit are you expecting from more frequent feeding?

If the cyclopeeze provides such a benefit to fish/corals i was curious why you wouldn't want to feed it more often than once or twice a week. If that is all that is necessary though it makes sense.

well what benefit does it provide? some sustenance, but I've not put a lot of time researching it. Honestly, I was saying I would feed it once a week or so if you wanted to. While I do have some, I can't say I've fed it in the last 2 months. I usually just feed flakes and freeze dried krill to my fish in a 150 gallon SPS dominated tank, and the coral get's whatever's left over.
