How RARE is it?

Now, I have been told it is rare because of it's elegant color... but how rare is the Golden Hawkfish actually? It looks like a Flame Hawk fish but bright yellow.. Any price suggestions?

For What It's Worth:

I saw what I think was an adult for $699 at a LFS earlier this year. I can't tell you if this price was reasonable. The LFS owner usually doesn't sell fish in this price range. And on other fish, sometimes he's way below other market prices and sometimes way above on certain fish. For some reason I remember that this fish was caught off southern Japan, but may be mistaken on that. It was a nice looking fish.

Got any pictures? Because a Google search only shows golden versions of arc eyes and what looks like a falcon.

Not sure if you're talking to me or the OP. I didn't get a pic at the LFS store. But it looked like the first few pics when I Googled "Yellow Hawkfish." Just solid yellow, no mottled coloration like some of the pics further down the list.

what are golden hawkfish like? how big do they get? my lfs has one for about $200-$300. i havent seen much about them
