I'm wanting to do this to feed to my frogfish because pure freshwater fish can kill them. So my LFSs said that this will hardly effect them. But this is basic steps to aclimate them and supplies you will need.
Correct me if I'm wrong or suggest something.
Supplies:
Aquarium over 15g
heater keep 78'F
Saltmix
filter
airerator
gravel/optional
extra money
First set up your aquarium and put in your gravel, heater, filter, airerator, and gravel(optional). Let this sit for a day or two while the aquarium heats up and cycles a little bit but you should be fine.
Then once you finish that step mix up 1-5gallons of your salt and either place above the aquarium and let it drip for 3-4days or you could just put 1/4cup in every 45min-1hour. Watch the water level so it doesn't over flow.
Then I think thats all but add in stuff if you think I missed anything or add different methods.
