how to figure pvc size for pump output

I've ordered a dart to use for circulation. It has a 2" input and 1.5" output. Is there some guide on how to calculate the output size of the the pipe? Say if i'm going to have 4 jets off of the pump, i'd assume using 1.5" all the way to the tank would result in too little flow. Should the 1.5" pipe be reduced down to 3/4" or 1" closer to going back into the tank?

You could use either, with 4 points, depending on teh veolcity you want. What's the estimated GPH?

I'd guess with head loss around 3000 gph, but that wouldn't include losses do to pipe friction.

So, roughly 750gph per output (depending on individual run resistance), I think you'll probably want to go 3/4", 1" might be a little too dispersed (lower velocity) giving you less "push" the further away from the return point you go.

So would you do a 1.5" source line close to all 4 outputs then do the reducer to the tank? or should the 1.5" line be reduced down as well as it gets farther from the pump?
