Hey guys
I bought a used lifereef overflow and during shipping the bottom of the external box broke....the bulkhead came right off...there's a big hole in the center now(I'll take a picture if you dont know what I mean)

anyways, im thinking of glueing a piece of hard plastic at the bottom and top of the overflow (by top I mean the top face of the bottom piece)....do you think that would be safe? if so what glue should I use or if you have any other ideas, let me know!

cheers
thomas

i dont know but Im giving him the benefit of the doubt
In the box there was all the little tiny pieces of acrylic that come together fill the hole...there is no way of knowing so im not even going to bother....anyone have any idea on how to fix this?
in addition to what glue to use...what material should i use?? I will need to drill a hole with a holesaw in it also....how hard is acrylic to drill?

Try fitting pieces together first. Then I would spot tack it together the broken pieces, get some epoxy two part mix. bond it together and use a homemade piece of acrylic to gule to the bottom for support. Kind of like masking over the broken area to strangthen the bottom up a bit. Then just dremal out the hold agian for bulkhead.
