I have this favia:

I was thinking of fragging it and I wondered how I would go about that and how would I attach the frag to a new rock?

Several ways to skin this cat :smokin:

Hammer&chisel and hope for the best
tile saw or
dremel with a diamond tip sawblade

Image the frags you wish within the area you wish to cut. And try to find straight lines between the polyps coralite you can follow for a clean cut and less cuts through the middle of polyps as possible. Depending on the thickness, you may want to have a chisel or screwdrive that you can tap along the line youve made to seperate.

Place frags in a bowl of tank water so cuts can coagulate for a few minutes and debris can settle before placing back into the display. Keep a moderate flow on the colony and frags as to keep cuts clean and free from algae settling on exposed bone. Never a bad idea to replace carbon as well after fragging sessions, helps keep the water clean and also helps reduce irratating other corals during this process in my eperiences. Good luck, its a great specimen and a good candidate for fragging:thumbsup:

I think I will give the Dremel option a try, just take a small corner off and super glue the rock (it is pretty thin) to a larger rock and see if it takes off. :)
