How to frag an encrusting monti?

I have a superman colony that I would like to frag, but would like to cut it into pretty exact sized pieces. What would you suggest to use? Dremmel? Chisel? I have no experience fragging anything and I don't want to shatter my colony into smitherines

Does anyone have any suggestions?
