how to frag chalice/echino?

i'm looking to make a small frag for a friend...

I use just about everything to frag chalice, depending on the piece. If it's thick, but not super thick, I use a dremel. If it's super thich, I usually just use a hammer and chissel. If it's thin, I use my bone cutters, or simply break it by hand using. The shears are not a predictable cut though, it can cause some odd sizes.

i used some bone shears and it cut a awkward shape... at least the mouth wasn't damaged.

Sam, get a dremel from Costco. It's only $25 and you can do a lot of things with it.

lol, i'll make you a frag of it later phong. the mother isn't that big.
