How to get rid off calcium spots?!

So I need help!
I just set up a 30 gallon tank 6 days ago. I started the tank with live sand, bio-spira, and some fish food...

Back to the main point...
The last 4 days I've been adding sea buffer to increase the ph & alkalinity in the tank...
And the last 3 days Iv'e noticed white spots all over the glass.
From experience with freshwater tanks I figured it was calcium.
So just as I did then I got my sponge aquarium scrubber and started scrubbing the glass... But the calcium won't come off with that OR with a paper towel...
What do I do?!
Do any of you know how to get rid of it, or know if it is something else?

Thanks!

Razor blade. How high is your alkalinity? You really should not worry or do anything about it during the cycle, if you are seeing calcium precipitation, you are almost certainly overdosing. Don't worry about pH, trying to boost your pH will raise your alkalinity to unacceptable levels.

You sure its not spirorbid worms? They look like white specs on the glass and can take a bit to scrub off.. Also really common

And yes you most certainly should not need to be adding any "buffers" at this time..
