yes the epoxys can be used under water but they are only good for LPS and SPS corals. when you get to softies they will need other waysof mounting, such as netting, using fishing line, ect. as glue or epoxy won't hold a soft coral.
Why not glue the coral out of the water? Tends to be a lot easier and many aquarist forget that corals do OK out of the water for a limited period of time.
I superglue corals to live rock frags. I let it set out of water. Then I epoxy the live rock frag where I want it in the tank. Makes the coral more movable. When epoxy sets, it gets hot and this can damage coral tissue.
Alrighty, but can I mold the epoxy, and attach to live rock frag, then put it into the tank right away? I have the corals on live rock frags, but they don't seem to stand up, they keep falling.
