how to grow(not frag) ricordea florida?

my rics keep growing bigger & bigger instead of splitting
any tips in making them growing more polyps naturally without fragging?

I wish I had your problem, mine are in a temp holding tank till I can finish the upgrade, (been 4 months now) and are shrinking

Ricordia grow mildly fast, in terms of spreading out. However, It takes months to start splitting into a mini colony. they will do it though, just leave them alone

as far as supplements to get them growing faster there aren't really. the key is bright light and plenty of dissolved organics for them to feed on. they once they start taking off the colony can grow quite rapidly
