How to keep the salt off of the glass brace on a 210g oceanic?

Have you noticed how ridiculously wide the glass center brace over the Oceanic tanks is? When I ordered mine, I had no idea. I figured it would be like any other glass tank...

Anyway, the top-side is easy to keep clean, but the underside is a 1/2" to 1" above the water surface and gets salt drops on it. Whenever I mess with the tank, I run my hand under the glass brace and get the salt deposits off, but I'd rather have a permanent solution.

I can't raise the water level in the tank any higher without redoing my standpipes. I could put a powerhead in the tank to blow water up at it...

Anyway, has anyone dealt with this and solved it?

I have an oceanic as well. I could use the glass braces for a formal dining table. I thought about using a squeegee. I just don't know if the foam part of it would be safe to submerge in the tank.

White tiger,
Its an ultrasound of my son's face before he was born. The nose is in the top/center, lips in the middle, and chin at bottom/center.
