hey guys how do you make sure peppermint shrimp are clean of parasites before adding them to a tank?

Safest way is to QT them for 9 weeks (same as you would do a fish). I setup a small 20L for just this purpose. Nothing fancy, just some extra LR I had, sand, a HOB filter and one powerhead for circulation. And a heater. If you can't/won't do this, at least rinse the shrimp off with water from the DT before putting him in. This might *BIG MIGHT* wash away any parasites hitchhiking on his exoskeleton.

yea thats what i was afraid of. ok ill just throw them into a Qt for a couple mos.
