Wrasse junkie
Hey guys I have limited space and need to QT 4 wrasses in a 20 L before going into the DT.they are a vile pair, carpenter male, and red fin male. Should I use those traveling gerbil cases and just grt 3 of them? That way they will be living side by side and get to know eachother. Any ideas would sure help I
Know Theres wrasse heads out there

I have done the exact same thing and never had any problems during QT.

The problems usually arise with any older fish when the new guys are added or after the new fish are comfortably established in the display tank and than they may start fighting with each other.

38Bill do you mean in the 20L? or with the gerbil traveling cases? anyone else's experience with a similar issue like this id enjoy as much feed back as possible

I use a bare bottom 20L with some live rock and PVC pieces for hiding places.

Make sure its covered.

My 20L is drilled and runs a sump with a filter sock. I like to feed heavy in the QT and the sock catches any uneaten food. Never had a problem with the 18 or so wrasse I have run through it.

PS: If the fish start to fight you can just catch the aggressive one and seperate it from the others. Its usually only one fish that causes the problem and like I said I have never had those problems in the QT.
