how to remove anemone?

I have few mini maxi anemones in my tank . I will be redoing few things and would like to remove them from the rock they are on. What's the best way to remove them without harming them? Thanks for any suggestions.

You will hear all kinds of methods from ice to credit cards. The problem is unless you can get underneath the foot you cannot remove them without harming them. If it is a smooth surface a credit card will work but on a rock the best way to ensure you do not harm the anemone is to chip a piece of the rock off underneath them. Just my 2 cents I have learned the hard way .

if u can use a small powerhead at the base of the anem and it will set free,mostlikely wont like the sudden flow

+1 on the water flow from a pump, mine released after a few min of direct water on the foot

I just got my rbta off. Tried the direct flow, ice and hanging it upside down. Ended up putting it a spot with the least amount of flow and adjusted my power heads and waited for it to move on its own

Thanks for all the info. I will see what works,in the end I can always chip the rock off.
