Hi,

my 65g tank with 90 pounds of live rocks is now full of this 2 kinds of macro. How to remove them? fish? snails? treatment?

thanks!!

Halimeda is relatively easy to remove. Just pull it out. It grows relatively slowly, so you should be able to get it easily.

Caulerpa, on the other hand, is a difficult one to remove. Manual removal works well, but make sure you get everything, because any fragments left behind will grow back quickly. Caulerpa is very invasive and hard to get out of the little cracks in the rocks. If you can remove a rock from the tank and scrub it down, that may help. Some have had success with predators, but it seems to be hit or miss.

Just be diligent and stick with it.
