How to ship corals?

I have been fragging my corals a lot recently, and now my tank is filling up with frags, so I was wondering a few things about selling/shipping them.

Question #1: Where does one buy the styrofoam coolers that most people ship live stuff in?

And for people who have shipped stuff before: What are some tips that you could give me? Also, how do I know when to use a heat/ice pack?

All input is appreciated. Thanks!

I have always kept my bags from LFS when purchasing corals or fish. Also I have gotten to know the employees quite well at LFS so once in a while they will gie me a hand full of bags......I dont ship corals I just use the bags when swapping with friends or trading in coral frags or fish....

hey barnett,
you might want to ask this question in the coral prop. forum i know alot of those guys buy and sell.....you might get some more feed back....

How big of a styrofoam container are you looking for? Like Shane Hoffman mentioned, if you know any your LFS well enough, they'll be willing to give you those. as far as knowing when to pack a heat or ice pack. depends on the weather where you'll be sending it. Now this also affects where it's coming from, but most of the time it's sitting over there for a longer period of time then where it came from.
